The PlayStation was a highlight for the small one, however only in English (he needed to learn...). George has an assistant - Mimi, who speaks English and who was available via WhatsApp during the stay and responded promptly in case of questions (e.g. how to use the extractor hood). "

The newness, modernity, cleanliness of the building and apartment was impeccable and the communication (Pre/During/Post) was awesome. A welcome fresh fruit basket was also a nice touch. The apartment is fully equipped as you can see in the pictures and the pictures are super authentic, what you see is what you get. The PS5 and complimentary home office desk/chair were really nice add-ons. It's located on level 1, with a cozy terrace area that has seating and a small bamboo swing - too hot to use in the summer, but would be great once the weather improves. It is also super accessible to the pools and gym, which are all on the same floor, just walk out of your terrace for a few mins are you're there. There's also a basement with covered reserved parking which is very important especially in the summer when your car can unbearably heat up in just a few mins if not parked in the shade. While there is still a lot of construction in the area - it's a brand new neighborhood coming up just off La Mer Beach - there was really no real noise disturbance in the apartment. The area is super central to the heart of Dubai (especially for those who are familiar with the city or lived there in the past), so most areas are very accessible, however, you would need a car or taxi to get around. Even though it is so central, it's just secluded enough to be peaceful and quiet when you're in the apartment. It might get busy with people and traffic when the development is all done, but for now, it's great. The only downsides, with no fault of the owner was that the infinity pool which is right outside the apartment and has a downtown Dubai skyline view never opened while we were there. It was supposed to have finished a few weeks before we arrived, however, work was still going on when while we were there. We were optimistic that we would get a few days of use before we departed, but it never happened. That would be have been a home run. To be fair, the owner and his team were also chasing the maintenance team on a status and to finish. That said, there is a another infinity pool on the same terrace maybe 3 mins walk away (Not with a skyline view though), right next to the gym. Second, there is a beach that you can walk to right across from the apartment building which would take you 4 mins to get to, however, the construction supplies and vehicles are parked there - don't think anyone would stop you going to that beach, it's just not yet fully ready. La Mer beach and the other beaches on the Jumeirah coast with walking/cycling paths and showers are just a few mins drive away though. All in all, was awesome, and we'd definitely recommend it and look to stay there during our future trips to Dubai."

On a first come, first served basis, you can request the following items to be used for free: Home office desk and chair, rice cooker, crib, high chair, PS5, bikes. All items are free to use. However, for the PS5, we will collect AED 1,000 security deposit.
The garden is fully fenced and only shared with the other residents. It has many benches to just sit and enjoy, 2 playgrounds, a lawn area, a garden chess and a shaded, outdoor yoga place. The garden connects the 5 buildings of La Cote, the pools and the gym.
Everything feels like a Mediterranean village with a small well here, a bench to sit on there and lots of greenery.
The state-of-the-art gym with the latest range of TechnoGym equipment is located in Building 4 on Floor 1. It's accessible for free by all guests and residents. There are toilets and changing rooms available. The access is through the white door from inside the building (not the glass doors outside). The entrance is 140 cm (55") wide, so easily accessible with a wheelchair.
As our guest, you enjoy 5 very nice pools with lifeguards available to choose from. One of them is especially for the little ones. All pools are located on the 1st floor, temperature controlled, fully fenced and have toilets and changing rooms nearby. The opening times are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. as this is the duty time for the lifeguards. All pools are wheelchair accessible.
The infinity pool of building 1 offers breathtaking views over the promenade, the marina and the Dubai skyline. Maximum depth is 120cm.
Pool 2 is located in the backyard of building 2. It offers more space, more deck chairs and also more privacy. Maximum depth is 120cm.
Pool 3 is located in the backyard of building 3. It is pretty similar to pool 2. Maximum depth is 120cm.
Pool 4 is located between building 4 and 5. It also is an infinity pool with stunning view over the plazza towards the marina. Maximum depth is 120cm.
Safe and fun. The pool for the little ones is seperately fenced, shaded, temperature controlled and only 45 cm shallow. There is enough space for the grown ups to keep an eye on their young ones. In the same area there is a small playground as well.
Every day comes with a different sunset. However, they are all romantic and good for your soul.

Port de La Mer is green. Much greener than many think. There are Palm trees, bushes and hanging plants everywhere.
Port de La Mer is a peninsula, well-connected to the Jumeirah (Beach) Road, where Dubai Marine Club is. There is a charming track with lots of palm trees alongside the ocean for pedestrians, bicycles and scooters. This allows to go jogging, cycling, scooting or just strolling for hours and enjoy the salty breeze, sunseekers or just the costal scenery. There is a Careem bikes (bikes for rent) station and an e-scooter station right in front of the Dubai Marine Club. In case you just want to buy milk at the supermarket, you can use one of our simple bikes.
Port de La Mer currently has no grocery/convenience store/supermarket. All the shopping infrastructure is located on or near Jumeirah (Beach) Road. Spinneys is a well stocked western supermarket with a pharmacy, dry cleaning, optician, and a few other stores. It's located right at the Entrance to Port de La Mer on the opposite side of the road. Home delivery is common.

Dubai speaks English! Arabic is not necessary and is often not spoken by the service staff. If you would like an experienced English-speaking assistant for your visit, please inform us at least 48 hours before your arrival.
Connectivity
Transport in Dubai is generally very cheap. Taxis from the airport are the recommended option to get to your destination.
