My brand new, quiet, luxury apartment is located in Port de La Mer, a new development with a private beach and marina. Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Downtown Dubai are only 15 minutes away. Jumeirah Beach Road with all its restaurants and the popular La Mer public beach are within walking distance. However, I recommend having a car.

The modern, social, open plan kitchen is bright and well equipped.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything a modern kitchen needs. Besides the quality appliances like fridge, cooker, oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffeemaschine and all the small stuff.
The massive dining table has space for 4.
Everything is light and bright in living room. Everything becomes easy peasy.
So cosy and inviting it can be. Sit down and relax. Please note, that this is a proper leather sofa and no sofa bed.

This is where dreams come true.
There are plenty of hangers for your clothes and shelf space for the rest of your stuff. The mirror across the bed is better than TV. A tissue box is complementary.
The bathroom is spacious and well lit with a marble countertop and a huge mirror with indirect light. There are 2 hooks and a rail in the bathroom for your towels.
The shower has 2 shower heads, a normal one and a rain forest head to enjoy a refreshing rain when you want it. 2 x 30 ml shampoo and conditioner are complimentary.
You have a separate laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer inside the apartment. Close the door and keep it quiet in the rest of the apartment.
On a first come, first served basis, you can request the following items to be used for free: Home office desk and chair, rice cooker, crib, high chair, PS5, bikes. All items are free to use. However, for the PS5, we will collect AED 1,000 security deposit.
The garden is fully fenced and only shared with the other residents. It has many benches to just sit and enjoy, 2 playgrounds, a lawn area, a garden chess and a shaded, outdoor yoga place. The garden connects the 5 buildings of La Cote, the pools and the gym.
Everything feels like a Mediterranean village with a small well here, a bench to sit on there and lots of greenery.
This is your building entrance. There is a security guard just behind the door.
The Marina is coming up and the neighbouring promenades of La Rive and Le Pont are accessible for a stroll.
The state-of-the-art gym with the latest range of TechnoGym equipment is located in Building 4 on Floor 1. It's accessible for free by all guests and residents. There are toilets and changing rooms available. The access is through the white door from inside the building (not the glass doors outside). The entrance is 140 cm (55") wide, so easily accessible with a wheelchair.
As our guest, you enjoy 5 very nice pools with lifeguards available to choose from. One of them is especially for the little ones. All pools are located on the 1st floor, temperature controlled, fully fenced and have toilets and changing rooms nearby. The opening times are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. as this is the duty time for the lifeguards. All pools are wheelchair accessible.
The infinity pool of building 1 offers breathtaking views over the promenade, the marina and the Dubai skyline. The maximum depth is 120 cm.
Pool 2 is located in the quiet backyard of building 2 facing the marina. It offers more space, more deck chairs and also more privacy. It's 600 cm x 1200 cm big with a maximum depth of 120 cm.
Pool 3 is located in the backyard of building 3. It is pretty similar to pool 2. The maximum depth is 120 cm.
Pool 4 is located between building 4 and 5. It also is an infinity pool with a stunning view over the plaza towards the marina. The maximum depth is 120 cm.
Safe and fun. The pool for the little ones is separately fenced, shaded, temperature controlled and only 45 cm shallow. There is enough space for the grown-ups to keep an eye on their young ones. In the same area there is a small playground as well.
Every day comes with a different sunset. However, they are all romantic and good for your soul.

In Port de La Mer you are always surrounded by water and enjoy great and green scenery.
Port de La Mer is green. Much greener than many think. There are Palm trees, bushes and hanging plants everywhere.
Port de La Mer is a peninsula, well-connected to the Jumeirah (Beach) Road, where Dubai Marine Club is. There is a charming track with lots of palm trees alongside the ocean for pedestrians, bicycles and scooters. This allows to go jogging, cycling, scooting or just strolling for hours and enjoy the salty breeze, sunseekers or just the costal scenery. There is a Careem bikes (bikes for rent) station and an e-scooter station right in front of the Dubai Marine Club. In case you just want to buy milk at the supermarket, you can use one of our simple bikes.
A Geant supermarket is already announced to open soon. However, Port de La Mer currently has no grocery/convenience store/supermarket. All the shopping infrastructure is located on or near Jumeirah (Beach) Road. Spinneys is a well stocked western supermarket with a pharmacy, dry cleaning, optician, and a few other stores. It's located right at the Entrance to Port de La Mer on the opposite side of the road. Home delivery is common.

Relax and enjoy the peace and quiet at the beach. Nobody will shout at you, nobody will stress you out. Everything is just fine. It doesn't matter if you just want to enjoy the sun rays and the sand between your toes, or if you're more the sporty type. There are all types of water sports available.

La Mer beach is popular with people living in Jumeirah and Downtown. It offers plenty of restaurants, shops and many other interesting things to discover.

Port de La Mer is a new development in Jumeirah 1, the most prestigious area in Dubai. Port de La Mer is located at the sea. La Cote has been handed over in December 2021/January 2022. It consists of 414 households. Le Pont was handed over in September 2022. La Rive is in the process of being handed over now (December 2022/January 2023), La Voile beginning of 2023. La Mer Beach is free and very popular amongst Dubai residents.
The red buildings, La Cote, are now complete. My apartment is in the building with the red dot C2 and is oriented to the north and the west and has a partial sea view.
Floor plan: 790 sqft (73m²) are fully available to you. You don't share with anyone.

You have an entire 1 bedroom apartment to yourself. You don't share with anyone. Bedroom, living-room, kitchen, bathroom and laundry room are all inside the apartment. A dedicated parking belongs to the apartment on street level.
You can access all 5 pools, gym, garden with playgrounds and promenade and plaza for free.
The next hotel is Hyatt Centric right at the entrance to Port de La Mer where you also find La Mer Beach North and all the restaurants that La Mer and Jumeirah Beach Road have to offer.
Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Downtown Dubai are only 15 minutes away. Uber/Careem/Taxi work fine, however, I recommend having a car.

Port de La Mer is a brand-new development near the popular public beach La Mer (yellow on the map).
It's a peninsula connected to Jumeirah Beach Road, Jumeirah 1, right at the Dubai Marine Club. The centrepiece of Port de La Mer is its marina for 200 yachts which is already coming up.
You have 5 pools, a state of the art gym and a spacious garden available at your doorstep.
